Brinton family papers
The Brinton family papers document several generations of the Brinton, Steinmetz, and Ward families, who flourished between 1760-1930 in Pennsylvania and New York. Several members of the family played prominent roles in their communities and included landholders, real estate developers, merchants, Civil War surgeons, medical doctors and professors, missionaries, a minister, an art critic, an anthropologist, lawyers, a judge, an engineer, and several authors.
British scrapbook of the late Regency-early Victorian period
This early nineteenth-century British scrapbook features both copied and original riddles and poems. Images included in this collection are political cartoons, fashionable ladies and gentlemen, architecture, animals, birds, flowers and fruit. Thematic arrangements of scraps include virtue, marriage, courtship, mourning and the loss of family members.

Fleda Brown (born 1944) is an American poet, scholar, and educator, and was poet laureate for the state of Delaware from 2001-2007. The Fleda Brown papers, spanning circa 1950-2014 (bulk 1963-2014), comprise early works, poem drafts and notes, journals, correspondence, and materials related to Brown’s professional life as a poet and professor of English at the University of Delaware.

Tom Clark collection of book reviews
The Tom Clark collection of book reviews consists of handwritten and typed manuscripts written by Clark in which he reviews the books of various American authors, including Nancy Morejón, Larry Eigner, Laura Moriarty, John Godfrey, Maureen Owen, Norman Moser, John Koethe, Simon Pettet, Michael Palmer, and Darell Gray. Some of the reviews include a handwritten and typed draft, others only one draft. The collection also includes one clipping.

This nineteenth-century copybook and scrapbook was kept by student (and later teacher) Georgina Maria Cooper of Hollandsville, Delaware. It contains pages of copied phrases completed when Cooper was in school, poetry clippings, copied lists of deaths and marriages in Kent County, Delaware, and a list of her students in 1871.

The Franklin C. and Joanne Currier Daiber papers include correspondence, photographs, negatives, artwork, and publications documenting their personal relationships and professional research and scholarship as marine scientists at the University of Delaware in the mid-twentieth century.

Philadelphia chemist John Davis’s manuscript book is filled with medicinal formulae and numerous laid-in receipts and household hints. There are over 135 items as varied as medicinal receipts, graduation announcements, poetry, sketches, and a silhouette.

The Richard Harding Davis collection is a small association collection containing six autographed letters signed by the author; four newspapers clippings; several photographs of Davis and his estate, Crossroads Farm in Mt.
